Connect Howuku with HTTP Webhook

HTTP Webhook is a way for an application to provide other applications with real-time information. A webhook delivers data to other applications as it happens, meaning you get data immediately. 

You can send data about the below events that occur to a web application using Howuku webhooks. 

  • New incoming feedback responses
  • New incoming survey responses
  • New recordings

Requirement


Enable HTTP Webhook integration in website settings

Only the account owner and team members with admin permission can enable the HTTP Webhook integration. 

  1. Click on the Profile icon on the top right of the dashboard
  2. Locate and click Website from the sidebar menu
  3. Select the website and click on the Connect Integration tools button.
  4. Turn on the HTTP Webhook integration. 
  5. Once enabled, all the team members can set up notifications on the Feedback widget, Survey or Sessions Recording.

Setup notification to an HTTP Webhook for Survey

  1. Go to Survey and click on the New Campaign button.
  2. Go to the Responses Notification section. 
  3. Turn on the toggle on the HTTP Webhook. 
  4. Paste the Webhook URL to the Howuku and click the Save and Test button.
  5. Your web application will receive a response from Howuku.

  1. Go to Feedback and click on the New Campaign button.
  2. Go to the Responses Notification section.

  1. Go to Recordings and click on the Tracking & Targeting button on the upper right.
  2. Go to the Notification section. 
  3. Turn on the toggle on the HTTP Webhook. 
  4. Paste the Webhook URL to the Howuku and click the Save and Test button.
  5. Your web application will receive a response from Howuku.
